Trade unions working together across the sector in Europe

The project is a trade union initiative, which aims to plan ahead for demographic, structural, employment and qualification changes in the European aerospace industry.
Key areas include ensuring that future qualification and employment needs are met within the sector, addressing the huge shortage of skilled workforce, which is already noticeable, and working with “ageing” workforces.  
The initiative aims to bring about work and employment innovations, based on strategic approaches to HR and work organisation.  Information is provided about tools for sustainable HR and systematic age management, which are applied to country-specific focus areas.
Trade unions and works councils are taking the initiative, by sharing their sector-specific know-how, workplace experience and contributing to future-proof solutions.
